Would you like to be a part of a new, international community in early childhood education?

We are looking for qualified and open-minded Finnish and English-speaking kindergarten teacher to join our brand-new day-care centre, HEI Ruoholahti. Touhula has opened the day-care centre in August 2018, with four groups of children from 10 months to 6 years old. The curriculum and concept is based on the HEI Schools model.

HEI Schools (Helsinki International Schools) is an international kindergarten concept founded in partnership with the University of Helsinki. The curriculum is based on the Finnish early childhood education model and the latest pedagogical research. HEI Ruoholahti is the first HEI School in Finland. Touhula varhaiskasvatus Oy is the largest private kindergarten operator in Finland, currently operating about 170 day-care centres around Finland.

We are looking for:

  • Qualified kindergarten teacher in Finnish early childhood education. For international degrees, please see the Act on Qualification Requirements for Social Welfare Professionals (272/2005, Paragraph 7)

  • Finnish and English communication skills and a willingness to work in a bilingual environment

  • Strong pedagogical skills and a passion to be a part of something new

  • Problem-solving skills and a creative mindset

  • Positive attitude and great cooperation skills in your new HEI and Touhula Family
