Lillipods Indonesia Celebrates Grand Opening and Official Start of Operations in Tangerang

Lillipods Indonesia, in partnership with HEI Schools Global, celebrated the official launch of its first early education center, LILLIPODS Preschool Icon BSD, in BSD, Tangerang. On August 19, 2025, the opening ceremony marks the introduction of a locally adapted, Finnish play-based curriculum designed to foster joyful and purposeful learning for young children.

Dignitaries attending the launch included Charge D'affaires Teemu Laakkonen, Development Attaché Minh Lam, and Communication & Event Coordinator Fildzah Arifin, highlighting the significance of this international collaboration.

A key feature of the event was a panel discussion titled "Bringing the Right to a Safe and Playful Childhood." The discussion featured Ms. Inkeri Aimnonen, CEO of HEI Schools and Lillipods HQ, and Ms. Arthalia Larsen, Co-Founder and Academic Advisor of Lillipods Indonesia. Moderated by Ms. Astrid Triandini, Principal of Lillipods BSD, the panel explored the importance of play in early development and creating secure learning environments.

The founders of Lillipods Indonesia have successfully operated HEI Schools Senayan in Jakarta since 2020. The launch of LILLIPODS Preschool BSD Icon brings Finnish early childhood education to a wider audience, making it more accessible than ever before. Staying true to the principles of Finland's renowned education system, the new preschool integrates locally adaptable elements to support holistic development and school readiness. The newly launched preschool is located in BSD City, Tangerang, a planned township in the Greater Jakarta area, also known as Jabodetabek.
